Founded in 2005, Zhejiang Dongyun Pharmaceutical was fully acquired by Zhejiang Guobang Pharmaceutical in March 2013. Located in the Hangzhou Bay Shangyu Economic and Technological Development Zone in Shangyu District, Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, lying between the provincial capital of Hangzhou and the coastal city of Ningbo, in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta economic region. The company's core is in pharmaceutical manufacturing technology and its developmental direction is in pharmaceutical APIs. It specializes in the R&D, production, and operation of cephalosporin antibiotics and has an annual production capacity of 150 tons of cephalosporin sterile APIs, 600 tons of oral cephalosporins and 1000 tons of pharmaceutical intermediates.

All the company's products have passed national pharmaceutical GMP certification. Its leading products include sterile APIs such as ceftezole sodium, cefodizime sodium, cefoxitin sodium and cefuroxime sodium, oral APIs such as cefprozil, and intermediates such as ceftezolic acid, cefodizimic acid, cefoxitin acid and cefuroxime acid.
